Students in IB Design Tech were given a very challenging problem—-save your company from declining sales! Each student chose a company out of a hat and had to develop a new product for their company to succeed. They had to research their company, find a user base and actually make the product. The engineering department was filled with the sound of sewing machines and some frustration on how difficult it can be to get all of the pieces to fit together to make a marketable product. Projects ranged from a “Getaway Bag for Stella and Dot”, a new backpack for Under Armour to a messenger bag for Jantzen.
