Over 32 corporate partners joined students, Administration and Advisory Board members at The 2nd Annual Partnership Breakfast yesterday in the Knowledge Commons. Guests were invited to celebrate their support of the partnership program which over the last four years provided over 804 career exploration opportunities–or 16,884 hours– for STEM Academy students. Attendees enjoyed opening remarks by Headmaster Campbell and Mr. Lauckner from the Chester County Economic Development Council regarding the outlook for future employment in STEM fields, but agreed that the highlight was hearing from the students. 29 students each shared the impact that their experience had on their future career path. Ms. Boardman, Internships & Partnerships Leader highlighted the many STEM graduates who have been successful in securing internships with our partners while in college. In two years, the hope is to see some of our STEM graduates employed locally by our business partners.
