DNA replication is one of the most complex topics students study in tenth grade biology here at the Academy. In order to help students understand the process better our very own Mr. Podlesney took his classes into the halls today to conduct a live simulation of the process.
Students were randomly assigned a role by picking up a card from the stack. Some students were nucleotides, others were enzymes or additional components necessary for the process to properly occur. Mr. P. then had students explain the process to each other as he asked additional questions to make sure students were understanding not only their role but the process as a whole!
