The Washington Post released it’s list of America’s Most Challenging High Schools list on April 19th and the STEM Academy made the rankings! The rank is based on a ratio determined by the amount of IB or AP tests given at a school each year and divide it by the number of graduates. Public Schools who achieved a minimum ratio of 1.0 were included in this year’s rankings.
The STEM Academy received a ratio score of 5.966, making it the most challenging school in the commonwealth of PA! In the Northeast region the Academy ranked 6th out of 455 schools, and made the top 100 in the national rankings by placing 95th out of the 2300 schools reviewed!
Congratulations to the students staff and community who have helped make the Academy the amazing success that it is today!
