KEY Club @ Special Olympics

The Key Club showing what the “S” in CAS really means this weekend at the Special Olympics. On Saturday, November 15th and Sunday, November 16th students from Key Club were reminded about the importance of encouragement and kindness by volunteering at Special Olympics in Villanova.

The students cheered on the long distance runners on Saturday and on Sunday they cheered for the soccer players in the final tournaments that determined which teams would take home the bronze, silver, and gold medals. After all the games were over, they went back to the spirited center area and danced with the athletes.

The athletes were very appreciative of all of the support. All of Key Club’s smiles and words of kindness brought smiles to the athlete’s faces. Key Club is excited to participate next year!
